My Yorkie is 2½ year ago; I asked my sister-in-law if she would like to take Chelsea for the ½ day I worked was not problems. Last year I got another dog and asked my sister-in-law (Debbie) to come with me to pick her up. Debbie help picked a name, she picked Daisi and I added Mae. Also Debbie offered to pay ¾ of the money for DaisiMae, which like an idiot I took it.

My brother won’t let Debbie have a dog because they travel so she has adopted mind. She takes both girls everyday that they are here. Well here’s the thing, I’ve been working with the girls on obedience and behavioral problems, walking etc. getting them to come to me on command, it was working great until there with Debbie they total ignore me won’t come just stay with Debbie. I want them to come to me as I’m their primarily owner or alpha. When it’s time to leave it’s a big fight, both girls won’t walk, they just sit there I don’t want to drag them I’ll stand turn my back then get excited start running and say rabbit they’ll run for a second than stop and sit. It a constant fight everyday. I don’t know what to do.
It’s really starting to upset me, I’m their mommy and it seen they would prefer to be with Debbie. She just plays all day with the girls great, no real training. Am I being ridiculous, jealous that maybe the girls want to be with Debbie not me? Are we confusing them by who the alpha here.
I’ve been trying to get them to play more together with each other I would play tug-a-war with both of them each with their own toy. Or one toy throw it and both girls get it and play together. Debbie tends to just play with Chelsea throw the glove and DaisiMae just sit with her. The whole theory of having two dogs for me was so they’re being more depended on each other and play together. Also I’ve been trying to get them more socialize with other dogs, I’ll bring other dogs up to Debbie’s place as they have a huge yard in hopes they’ll play, well Debbie with that stupid glove Chelsea will ignore the dogs and just what to play with the her. I’ve asked Debbie to put it away ignore Chelsea so she will play with others dogs. DaisiMae will play with them once I get them running and chasing.
I actually feel that Chelsea is pulling away from me. She would always be around me, when I’m watching TV she would be with me now she’s elsewhere, I’ll have to go and get her. DaisiMae still hangs on to me thank goodness. I feel like I’m losing Chelsea.
