I got my Pekingese (Ernie) who is about 14 lbs then we got a Dogue de Bordeaux (French Mastiff) who was over 130 lbs at times...anyway, getting the small dog first was key because he was totally the boss and the Mastiff grew up following the little one...my guess is that if raised with your Yorkie I really don't see it being a problem...if you had the bigger dog first I might be concerned but doing it this way I think it may work...
