My Reese was misdiagnosed with an enlarged heart by a ER vet examining his chest x ray. I made an appointment with a cardiologist who explained regular vets compare heart size to a picture diagram...and yorkies as a breed have larger hearts. After an ultrasound...it was determined Reese's heart was fine.
If your yorkie had an enlarged heart causing a cough...there would be other symptoms present. I urge you to seek out a specialist. |
