I think some say they only sell on limited registration, but if they get to know you, see your intent on becoming a responsible, educated breeder, they might be willing to change it to full registration down the line. Many don't want to do it up front as they cannot tell if the puppy is going to be breeding quality. But if you have one of their pups on limited registration, they turn 18-24 months old and not only meet breed standard but also have the spunk and attitude for a show dog; they might be willing to open it up to full registration. By then they can see your intent with the dog and have a better idea of your knowledge and ethics.
You might also inquire as to joint ownership of one of the Biewer show dogs. That way you can get your foot in the door! |
