Sorry you have to wait longer to get your little Bailey. I can't believe the breeder would have left the airport before she knew he was safely airborne. This is just more evidence of why we should not be flying these precious tiny babies alone. Sorry -- I know for some that is the only recourse to get them and it is the choice of the breeder. But it is still so hard to think of them being in cargo, waiting alone in holding areas, getting misplaced, misdirected, or worse. I looked at my tiny puppies and said -- "no way" could I send them alone as cargo. It meant losing 2 sales but I just could not do it.
Hope everything goes as planned tomorrow and you have your little Bailey in your arms soon. He will need a lot of love and attention. I am sure you are right, that he will be stressed from his ordeal. Be sure to have the Nutrical on hand when you pick him up at the airport along with food, water and lots of baby wipes.
