That is so sweet that you helped both of them...that is helping rescue in an enormous way! There are many other things that you can do to help with rescues.
We have a list that we send out to people. Some groups have a list posted online.
There is so much more that one can do .. not everyone can foster.
Oh...and in response to the cards and picture....most rescues rely on volunteers who donate cards and postage, at least that is what we do. The pictures were a recent addition donated by a YHR member. I always love to hear that someone has theirs! | The photos are a wonderful idea. I wasn't expecting it, and it was so touching - I treasure it. I would love to have that list of ways to help. Do I just request it from your website? I was really hoping to foster but with five of my own already it's just not something I feel I can give 100% to. That wouldn't be fair to any of them.
