yea, $70 is the cost to groom my yorkie here in Los Angeles. i go to this specific place that's been voted best groomer in Los Angeles. i don't trust any other place but this one.

he was matted so bad that i decided to just cut his hair. he did fine and didn't wiggle around. i guess all that training to have him sit still while i did his hair paid off. he just laid on my lap on his back while i snipped away at the matted hair.

his hair on his underside might be uneven, but his hair is so sparse in that area that you wouldn't be able to tell.

i will purchase one of those detangler products in the near future in case he gets matted again.

i sure learned my lesson. i will make sure he doesn't get matted that bad ever again. his hair looks so silky and sits nicely after he's been brushed and combed.
