Nancy is absolutely right. It really does depend on how close to the skin the matts are and how wiggly he is. You really could cut him if you're not sure of what you're doing. She's also right about the grooming cost. I just thought maybe that was the going rate for your area. However, the best groomer in our area only charges about $30 (not including the tip).
