My dad has had similar issues! Over in his neighborhood, basically all the dogs run loose. All of them are friendly but it's not cool having them roam all over the place, making my dad's dogs go crazy every time they're on the other side of the fence and having poop all over the neighborhood. There's a Golden Retriever, a Bulldog, a few small white poodle type dogs, a few Labs, etc. So, we deal with them running around, we don't like it but whatever, we're all animal lovers. Well, it was the last straw when a neighbor bought a brand new Lab puppy who is OUT OF CONTROL! He's "friendly" but he doesn't know his size. He's HUGE and he has no control. And they allow a PUPPY off leash. Well the other day he gave my little brother a HUGE black eye and knocked him over three times. My dad called Animal Control and reported it and they seem to keep him more contained. But whenever he gets away, they can never catch him and it takes an hour to get him under their control. |
