the 'come' command is a hard one for a lot of us.
for a while milu got really good at it and came to me everytime i called. but that was when i was working on it with her, and i basically wore a treat bag on me 24/7. so she always listened. i am since stopped doing that, and she is not so good with 'come' commend anymore. so i am trying to work with her on it again.
you need to make sure that you never say 'come' and then do something the dog does not like. like if you are going to wash your dog, or pick up your dog, or anything the dog does not like, don't say 'come' and then do it. just walk over and get your dog. otherwise, your dog will associate 'come' with something bad, like a punishment.
try to always only say it once. and have your dog come to you. and ALWAYS reward the dog EVERY TIME for coming to you.
