The only thing I use is quikstop for the blood. I use the clamp and twist on my tails so there isn't any blood. The dew claws do bleed some but not much. Mama licks them. There are probably some people that do use what you are you talking about but I don't know of anyone that does. The pain only lasts for a few seconds and mama comforts them. Mine usually stop crying as soon as I put them back with mama. i think they are more scared than in pain. and if it was done at the vet, there should be nno chance of infection. |
