I can't remember who it was but someone posted a thread about thier yorkie too scared to go up their stairs. I shared a story of Gus being scared of going up my fathers stair in his apartment complex. I really dont believe in this kind of stuff, BUT I had seen shadows 2 time while visiting there. And my step mother had alway said that there are spirts there. I think there is an explation for everything,,, but I did get freaked out when I seen it with my own eyes. And even after that I didn't believe it. But I can sure tell you that Gus will not venture out and sticks like glue to me when ever we are there. But when leaving or going,,,,, he will not step foot on the stairs. There is something about those stairs he does not like or is scared of.
