You need to be taking him to the pad every 30 minutes or so untill he gets it, then increase the time as he gets older. Offer him treats or praise every single time. It took Tucker untill he was almost 7 months old before he stopped having accidents and I was (and still continue)taking him outside every hour to hour and half while he was awake. You need to be consisitent. It takes alot of time and patience to train a dog. Yorkies are known to be "hard headed" and "hard to train". I have read on here that some people's yorkies still have the occasion accident in the home even after being trained for years. He is just a pup and it will be months before he is completely trained.
