First and foremost, these puppies are like toddlers. You can not expect a puppy as young as yours to be potty trained. You have a long road ahead of you. Potty training takes great patience and consistency.
There are several ways to go. It is fine to use the crate training technique to potty train. That is how I trained all of mine.
