This question comes up pretty regularly. I have 3 and I had the dew claws removed when they were neutered. They had a stitch or two and did very well. Bogey's were very danglie and I was worried they would catch so his removal was more because I was worried he would hurt himself. Since the both had their surgery together I decided to have Doodlebug's done as well. They both healed nicely and I am glad that I decided to go through with it for both.
