I wear progressives too...took me a while to get used to them...It takes a while to learn to move your head and not yours eyes (If you've ever worn bifocals). The thing with mine is...I don't wear big frames so there isn't much of the near vision to look through...I quilt,so if I am sewing I wear readers instead of my glasses....which is dumb! then I can't see the tv!! My eye doctor told me that I could get the rounded bifocal and there really isn't any line..you can however still see the bifocal...it just isn't so pronounced...I'm vain and don't want the line. I also wear contacts (bifocal) I do need to wear readers when I need to see close...because I have an astigmatism the contact doesn't sit quite right for me to see real close.
