Uni is a puller, so i tried out the front clip harness. It didn't work! She will pull so hard that the lead will go up underneath her front arm and continue to pull. I don't want to get the "muzzle" kind. I think she would still pull, I'm sure that would be even worse on the neck than a lead attached to a collar?
She just gets SOOOOO excited when she sees the lead and harness, there's no controlling her. She does better on walks withOUT the lead and harness, she'll stay right by my side. If she goes off the sidewalk, i say "sidewalk" and she will get back on. But I really want the added security and peace of mind with her walking on the lead. So this is why we don't take her on many walks, and probably why she gets so excited when we do.
We can't even say the work "walk", she gets too excited. We even said it with a british acccent while watching Victoria Stilwell and she still understood! We have to spell it now!
