Ok so I know it isnt natural for dogs to like leashes, but how in the world do I get Ella used to one?
She is 11 weeks and hasnt had all of her shots yet, so we dont go out front. I try practicing with the leash in the yard and in the house, but she HATES it.
She lays down and I end up kind of dragging her. I feel bad but I didnt want to let her win so I just kept draggin her around for a bit, and then I realized it wasnt working at all, so I stopped.
She will take ZERO steps on her own. I have tried luring her with a treat that she loves and she still refuses to move. She looks at the treat and whines but will not walk. I think I am going about this the wrong way.
What do I do to get her to walk????????????? Help please!
