I suggest you get a book on Yorkies and start over.
For the sake of the pup, I want to encourage you to never leave her outside at night again. Is this the same pup that is a teacup? Tiny puppies can die from exposure and stress.
As far as potty training you need to try to crate train her if she will only be allowed to go outside. That takes a lot of patience so you might want to consider wee pad training instead.
Keep her in an expen (in the house!) with a nice warm bed, some toys, her food and a wee pad. When you catch her going potty on the wee pad tell her how good she is and love her up. If she misses, ignore it.
If she cries in her pen, ignore it b/c you will know she is in a safe, warm place. She is just lonely. |
