I've had mine since about October 2008 and I adjusted very quickly, but I never had regular bifocal glasses to start with. I had put off glasses till I literally couldn't see well even with the cheap cheaters. I was so glad to see again I took to them right away. The hardest part for me was grocery shopping. I didn't know I only looked from side to side with my eyes till I got these glasses. Trying to focus on words was impossible, I must have looked like a bobble head walking down the isles. The eye dr told me that with these I would have to point my nose at whatever I wanted to see/read and he was right. No more just turning my eyes, I have to turn my head. Also I had to move the computer screen up. I love mine now that I know how to use them and have trained myself to move my head.
