I had the same question about the ear hair...my vet told me to pluck them out with my fingers. We groom our yorkies ourselves, so need to know how to do this, but if you take your puppy to a groomer, they should do this for you. If the ear hairs are longer we've been cutting them VERY carefully...some people say to put cotton balls in their ears before you do this, but we don't do that & haven't had any issues. I'm surprised at 9 weeks that your pup would have an ear hair problem though, we didn't have any "inner ear" hair to pluck until they were about 4 months old. As far as your bath question...most of the info on the internet says that you can give a puppy its first bath after it has been weaned. We got our 2 yorkies when they were 11 weeks old & they got a bath the same day we got them. When we were at the breeders, they had 6 week old yorkies that were getting their first bath, so you should be fine. Congrats on the new addition to your family!
