My puppy is 13 weeks old now. At about 8 weeks she weighed 1.8 lbs. At about 12 weeks she weighed 2.8 lbs. The vet said a good estimate is to double that, so I figure she will weigh about 6 lbs. full grown. This will be a little bit bigger than the breeder told me, she said her puppies would be less than 5 lbs. when grown. Both her parents were on site but I didn't pick them up. The mother was a little upset because I was holding her puppy and the father was outside. I am hoping she doesn't get larger than 6 lbs. but I will love her no matter! |
