Aw, bless you and your little rescue girl . You could do either -or- what works best for her. If you start canned, do it slowly to avoid digestive issues (if there are any). Canned food is sometimes called "fresher" bc it is less processed, so that might be a beneft. If you do moisten kibbles, keep in mind that the pet food industry warns that salmonella is found in almost all bags of kibble, so you just wouldn't want moist kibble to sit too long, due to potential for germ growth.

Adding some canned might be very exciting/fun for her too!
