Toby will be fine with you working, there are a lot of yorkie owners that work full time. My sister has 5 inside dogs and works full time, she just makes sure she gives them lots of loves and attention when she gets home. I would say more homes than none, have working families. Maybe just give it a shot first if you really hate to have to rehome him. Maybe get an xpen and put his toys, bed, pee pads, etc in the xpen. Then leave a radio or tv on for him. You'd be suprised at how much dogs just lay around and sleep
