Hi there! Ninapants, my 3.5 year old yorkie, is a little overweight

I love her to death and try to feed her all the right things, we walk every day for 45 minutes, sometimes more! But I'm sure I probably give her too many treats. It's so hard! I love to praise her for being such a good little girl! But this week it's business--we are on a diet plan! She has to lose some weight because she has luxating patella and I have noticed it a little more these days. I want the best for my baby and I want her to be happy and healthy

SO I am carefully regulating exactly how much she eats and only feeding her low fat snacks: apples, carrots, broccoli. I am wondering what everyone else gives their dogs?! Can Nina still eat egg whites? How about bluberries or melon? All of course in moderation. I know dogs can't eat grapes/potato/onion and chocolate of course. Any ideas? I would love to find out from all of you yorkie experts!
