Lulu choked a couple of months ago while we were camping on Spring Break. I gave her a piece of chicken (she is food aggressive anyway) and she didn't chew it but "inhaled" it and immediately couldn't breathe, started shaking, took a shaky step and fell over all stiff. It was horrible! This was in about 5-10 seconds. I grabbed her up, shook her a little, and still nothing, so I pried open her mouth and stuck my finger in there. I think I shoved it on down, because she freaked out on me, growled and yelped, but she was breathing! I put her down and oh she was mad at me! She got over it really quickly, and I almost had a melt down after that. It really scared me, and I've learned to be very careful how big of pieces of anything she gets.
