So next time, I should say something like, "Oh, yes! He's a very valuable pocket teddy bear!"
But that would probably get him stolen...
I think I'll stick with the usual reply. "No, he was born with a cleft palate, and has had health problems all his life. He has a degenerative disease in his right hip, and needs expensive surgery. You should see how much I've spent on his vet care and medication!"
Heehee!
Oh, and he has a cotton coat, so if the coat has anything to do with it, I guess he's a teddy bear!
