 Chloe's sick:(
On Friday Chloe ate a leaf from my peace lily in the house. Come to find out this is on the bad list of plants. On Monday we took her to the vet because she just wasn't acting normal, she had no energy and was very disinterested in everything. The vet told us her liver enzymes were a little elevated and he decided to keep her overnight to try and flush her system of the toxins from the plant. We brought her home this afternoon and now she seems to be running a fever. She is eating and drinking, she has had a bowel movement and has gone to pee many times. Should I just give her some recovery time or should I be worried about this? Is there something I can do to get her fever down? Your help is greatly appreciated. |
