Thank you so much for writing this well-written post. I think everyone here can understand your emotions, as we all share similar feelings. There have been times I've written a response to someone and then later regretted it (luckily it's been within the 5 minute rewrite span). It happens, and usually comes across harsher than we mean. There are definitely times when a post breaks my heart, too, and I'm definitely overly emotional. Really ... when do I not cry?
