Thought about planting shrubs all the way around it so it won't show. There are also wooden U-shaped fences that you can set up inside in front of doors that keep the dogs away from doors. Wonder if one of those gates that go between door frames would work? You'd just have to open it every time you went out. Again, I am so happy for you. Hang onto him tightly. ~Joanne~ | I just had a fence installed on the front porch, because when I came home from work at night, Apple was slipping out the front door...Fortunately, she was so excited to see me, that she would make a couple of circles in the front yard, and then come flying in...But I didn't want to take any chances w/the street out front...I had the guy who installed my fence (after the hurricane) build a little gate (36" high and 4' wide, not counting the posts that connect to both sides of the house on the porch) that swings in and painted it the same color as the house...It doesn't look like Better Homes and Garden, but it's neat, efficient, and I'm not a nervous wreck everytime I open the front door to my very excited "greeter" lol....As my signature says "it's all about Apple" lol.... |
