Oh, my, how frightening!!! So glad he came to you. He loves you and trusts you. How great that must make you feel. I have a 'bolter.' Have a fence out both doors. Might look out of place it's just not worth losing a dog. We're trying to come up with an idea how to put up a permanent fence in the front that will look decent. Thought about planting shrubs all the way around it so it won't show. There are also wooden U-shaped fences that you can set up inside in front of doors that keep the dogs away from doors. Wonder if one of those gates that go between door frames would work? You'd just have to open it every time you went out. Again, I am so happy for you. Hang onto him tightly. ~Joanne~
