Hello Congrats on the puppy. when mine was litle they seemed to have a little wave to the coat to. But as they got older it went streight. Mickeys was really thick at a young age and still is. Minies was thinner and cottony and she still is. maybe some one will post soon that knows more about the coat. sorry I can only tell you how my two Yorkies coat was.
