I will see a vet when I get there but dont want to give her harmful meds. Any suggestions. We will be in south Fla. I just had to put down my 17 year old Yorkie last week & my husband unexpectedly passed so I cant loose my baby. She is 5 lbs & very healthy. Thanks!!

I am so very, very, very sorry for your loss. Both your dear husband and your precious baby.

I use Interceptor as the heartworm, I use this bc my girl has liver issues and from my research I feel most comfortable with it, plus is comes in doses for the small babies.

My Vet has recommended Frontline Plus and I too HATE to use it, but we have a bad tick problem here so I must

Again, I am so sorry ~ I hope your family will give you some comfort

P.S. I have family in Naples and it is really nice when I visit.
