Yeah, but these people don't really get all the required testing, they just hook up the dogs they have. They are only thinking about how much money they will make. Now that we have the Internet, breeders who would be selling a dog for $300-500 locally can sell them for $1,200, so it's really about greed, and uneducated, impatient buyers. I know my thoughts aren't shared by many, but I really think breeding to simply supply people with pets is wrong. There should be a higher purpose to breeding, and unless you think you can add something to the breed, you should not be breeding. There are few breeders who share these thoughts, but I believe prospective buyers should always ask why a person has decided to breed, loving their pets isn't a good reason.
