I have read many of your posts. And this is another informative thread. Can I ask where in California you are? I couldn't see if you had a website. I too am one that bought a puppy from a backyard breeder. Thanks God she has been so healthy (knock on wood for me too!) Until I got more into this forum, I didn't realize that show breeders sold so many puppies as pets. I guess I assumed they were used for breeder and/or showing by themselves or others. Keep teaching us laypeople here. I hope that my next yorkie can come from a reputable breeder. I don't think I can do without another one, or two!
