I can't imagine that having been without it for a week and then back on for 5 days that she would be this sick. If she is still acting sick in the morning I am going to take her back in and have blood work done. Please keep her in your prayers. |

did they test her liver before she went on atopica? my dd had to have bile acids to go on this - also they ran blood work at 30 days, 6 months and at 1 year - did they do this as they wanted to make sure this drug was not affecting her in anyway. It is concering me that she is leaning against wall as head pressing is a sign of liver shunt - I would have her checked out especially if vet did not properly do the above procedure i had to have done to use this drug with a dermatologist - the first year they are suppose to really monitor them with this drug as it does get processed through the liver like all drugs do so if a dog has a liver issue then they are not suppose to be on it or heavily monitored as my dd is mild mvd post biles 73, then 54 then 26 on low protein diet. I am concerned that drug and protein count may be triggering this behavior
