Congratulations!! I know how excited you must be. My vet recommended only using the "Vet formula" Nutri-Cal for our Toto. It's actually a "high calorie palatable dietary supplement" and after over five years, we still always keep a tube on hand. If your baby shows signs of hypoglycemia, the gums will appear pale and not the healthy pink and they appear to have no energy [lethargic]. It also suppliments and helps their appetite, especially during the transition to a new home, new parents, etc. Good luck!
