Lesson learned Congratulations on your engagement!
To be honest you might want to reconsider leaving the dog at home with a pet-sitter or boarding at a really great, clean, trust-worthy place with play time.
Like you, I thought I could not bear to leave doggy behind while traveling. Last week I took my dog on a 10-day trip. Using the wonderful travel suggestions from this forum, the trip went smooth as it could, except it was very stressful on London to be in a strange new environment. She did not eat well, did not potty well, and body language indicated she did not feel safe and secure. Next time I will put doggy's needs first and leave her to board at her favorite doggy daycare.
Hope it works out for you either way. Good luck with all the planning! The old threads here contain a wealth of information. |
