I have heard so many times that someone is giving up a dog because they are having a baby. Have you taken a look at Craigslist, Petfinder, or even YT any time in the recent future. Of course most are not 20 yrs old, they are in their late 20's or early 30's getting married, moving, starting a family all of the life changes that go on when you are a young adult. Since a dog is a 10 plus year commitment you cannot say for sure what will happen in your future. There are stories right here on YT were the boyfriend, husband or wife do not like the pet. Not that long ago a man posted that he was giving away 2 yorkies that he had before he was married and that his new wife did not like them and they needed to go. The story with older pet owner is usually dealing with owners being put into a nursing home or even sadder death.
I wanted to try to find where you might have posted to a thread about an older person trying to give up their Yorkie that involved snide comments. Most of your posts are associated with
Ban the Person Above You,
Gift Exchange or
Pictures comments. But if I missed something please point me in the correct direction.
