Karo syrup works just as well. I've used it with my baby when the Nutri-cal isn't helping. You can use a tiny bit on your finger and rub it on his gums.
Don't give him too much... I did that one day and Hathaway was like a ping pong ball for hours. Best of luck with Bailey!!!
