If surgery is warrented, it should be done by an Othepedic Surgeon. Did the vet tell you what grade level LP?
Weight Management and jumping to a minimum will keep the knees from popping out.
I know that front knees can be loose on young dogs, it takes a bit of time for everything to solidify.
