I took my Yorkie to the vet today because she started limping on Saturday afternoon all of a sudden, and no one saw what happened. I waited to take her today (Monday) because she wasn't in any pain and was still running around on 3 legs. And because I've panicked so many times with the Emergency Vet. So, the vet (not my usual one but a stand in) said she needs surgery to repair a luxating patella. And probably needs all four knees done. I literally have no money and am in a practical panic. I brought my Chihuahua to the Emergency Vet 2 years ago with the same thing and he was able to fix it that day and we've had no more problems. That vet also told us that it was not worth doing surgery because it would likely not take. So I decided to look into this on some forums and was shocked to see a post titled "3 legs". From what I've read so far I know that I will definitely try the supplement with glucosamine. If anyone has any more updates or information I sure would appreciate it. Traci
