I had this very issue . Matter of fact I am on a lap top and my desk top is still in the shop. I bought my own VIRUS
Something popped upon my screen and so I clicked on it and WHAMO a VIRUS!
I thought it was FIREFOX and I thought it was IE it was neither I had a bad virus that no matter what I did it attatched iteself to everything I had.
Please be leary of it it is called PAV which stands for Personal Anti Virus STAY AWAY FROM IT! I bought it and I am out $48.98 They are scams and I have no way of recovering my money.
