Actually, yes, she is...just not for a while apparently.
She never stated that she wasn't ever going to finish it, just that it was "on hold indefinately"...not the same thing. (Not sure why so many are under that impression and translated it that way.)
In any case, that was in Aug 2008. Check out what she had to say in an interview SINCE that statement (Nov 2008):
