Hi Carol...Jemma's stomach may be senstive to bully sticks. I gave Buddy a bully stick...and he ended up with bloody mucous poops. Took Buddy to the vet, and when I mentioned that he had a bully stick, the vet said that it was most likely the cause. He told me that in little dogs, bully sticks tend to upset their stomachs. I have a maltese who is unaffected by them, so i guess it depends on how sensitive each dog is. Since Jemma throws them up, I would advise not to give them to her anymore. I have not given Buddy nor Lilu bully sticks since Buddy got sick, even though they love them.
