Sounds like you're doing really great. Tatum was 9 weeks old when we got her but barely 1 lb. We just made sure she ate and drank well (even though that meant playing games with her food so that she'd eat it) and kept the Nutrical handy. I would give Nutrical after every "play session" just to be on the safe side.
Sometimes you just have no choice on how old you bring your puppy home but it sounds like you'll do just fine. Congrats! Can't wait to see some pictures!
