Our Wylie is a good flier, although he occasionally paws at the bag. Marcel, our little guy, is not a good flier. He cries, and will bark occasionally. He just wants out. I have also been on a flight where a dog barked almost non-stop, wow that was tough.

We tried benadryl - didn't do a thing for Marcel. So we now use Acepromazine and it works perfectly. He can relax and not be stressed. Ace is not for all dogs, so you'd want to talk it over w/ your vet - and you'd also want to try it beforehand, once. Like almost all meds, it can be given very safely - if your dog needs it. Valium is another option, but we couldn't find anything small enough for Marcel at the time.
