 Day 40
I have a 16 month female who is pregnant she is 40 days today. I am new at this and did everything possible to keep her and my male yorkie apart. I kept them in separate rooms and kept her in a puppy diaper. One day we left the house for 10 minutes and put her in my daughters room. Well i guess my male got in the room because when we got home they were both in the living room. Her diaper had a small hole in it where she had chewed it. I didnt think they lookup since we kept such a close eye on them. This is my first litter and didnt plan on her having a litter until next year when she was old enough. I am worried about her. I have what i need for her and her pups i have a nesting area, a welping area, and a kennel for the pups. I know there temp goes up when they get close to labor but thats it. I have been really busy these past few week with a loss in the family. I need advice. I have a vet in my town which is not a big town by any means. I dont even know if they have an e-ray machine but i will call in the morning because of what i have read on some threads. There are no mentors in this area so im out of luck there. Any help please. When she got pregnant she weighted about 5 lbs the male yorkie is about 7-8 lbs. She was the runt of the litter and is a small silky yorkie. If you need anymore information to help me please respond.
