Very true. It breaks my heart. Volunteering at a no kill shelter we get so many one sin because of moving, divorce etc. I know there are some situations where there is no other option, but seeing these poor babies when they first come in and are so scared and don't understand how they ended up here. I always take the new one out and just hold them for awhile wondering what they are thinking. |
