Baxter is a 2 year old male. He is usually a very good boy, but whenever my husband, or a guest tries to walk towards the door to leave the house, or the stairs going to the 2nd floor(which are right next to the door), he turns into Kujo and starts barking like crazy and biting feet. He never does it to me, so I can assume its a resource guarding issue.

Any have any suggestions on how to stop this? Ive been told to send him to a behavior specialist, but before I do that I want to see if I can fix this problem at home.
